Course Information: Chepstow is a dual-purpose (flat & jumps) oval-shaped left-handed racecourse, approximately two miles in circumference. Races up to a mile in distance are run on the straight course, which is predominantly downhill with a fall of nearly 50 meters over the full mile.

The NH course is more undulating, with some pronounced undulations, the highest point reached on the back straight and an uphill section on the home bend. Due to the characteristics of the racecourse, the importance of stamina should not be underestimated, particularly when the going is soft.
