This is the riotous tale of a life in gambling, seen through the eyes of Moray Smith, one of the UK’s most successful punters. Introduced to cards and dice games as a boy, his knack for beating the odds soon brought him success with fruit machines, quiz machines, football betting, and even radio phone-ins before finally hitting the big time with horse racing. Known to bookmakers as “Cheltenham Man”, he has taken millions from their satchels and now advises some of the biggest names in the sport. Follow his escapades – disguises, runners, and more as the old enemy tries to dodge his bets.

For us, it was a great read, bringing back memories of previous Cheltenham Festivals gone before. Moray also explains the extraordinary lengths that bookmakers will go to prevent successful punters from placing a bet. Worth a read just for this.
